As an innovative roll manufacturer we stand for new developments and patents again and again: removable SWA^® rolls and bending resistant BS-KW and BSA^® rolls are Derichs designs that have become independent brand names in the field of roll manufacturing, well known throughout the world.

We are using the latest CAD and FEA methods in the research and development of tailor-made rolls and specialized designs as wells as for the analysis of existing or custom designs. Furthermore we are using special computer programs for analyzing cooling or heating processes.

Obviously these calculation tools can be used for existing rolls, too. The more we know about the actual status the more we can provide better solutions and improvements to our customers in order to optimize stiffness as well as heating or cooling capacity.
